Trip to Heidelberg
I should say Heidelberg is one of the cutest towns I have ever been to,
that's because of the architectural style, not the castle, for which
although is what Heidelberg famous.
The buildings, including the apartments, are well designed and built,
perhaps several decades ago and now are still being used properly.
Compare to Edinburgh, it's smaller, quieter and to me, nicer, especially
the weather, even though it was not such nice when I was there.
Compare to Karlsruhe, well, it's hard to compare because they are
difference kind of cities. I would expect if Heidelberg could have such
a sort of ancient university buildings which are now still being used,
like Cambridge and Oxford, it will be much more amazing.
It cost a little bit long to settle down in Germany so I am just about
to start travel around Europe so another good news to me is that the
NeOn kick-off will be held in FAO at Rome, which is another fabulous
place on my list. I don't think I have much time in Rome for tourism,
but I think it is a good opportunities for preparing my future visit to
Italy anyway.
Tomorrow will be the first travel after I started my RA in Karlsruhe. We
will go to Kaiserslautern.
